In the event of an inconsistency between these Terms and a specific written agreement expressly issued by Joy oh Joy for a particular order, the specific written agreement will apply to that order, to the extent permitted by law.

2. Eligibility to purchase

6. Product suitability and customer responsibility

7. Toys and age-restricted products

Joy oh Joy is not responsible for injury or damage caused by use contrary to the manufacturer’s warnings or instructions, except where liability cannot lawfully be excluded.

8. Availability

All products are subject to availability.

Adding a product to a shopping cart, submitting an enquiry, receiving an automated message, or beginning checkout does not reserve stock.

A submitted order reflects the customer’s commitment to purchase, but remains subject to:

successful payment;
stock verification;
supplier availability;
price verification;
order acceptance;
fraud and security checks;
delivery feasibility.

We may reject or cancel an order before dispatch where:

the product is unavailable;
payment is unsuccessful or reversed;
the price or description contains an obvious error;
the order appears fraudulent;
delivery cannot reasonably be completed;
the customer has provided incomplete or inaccurate information;
the order violates these Terms or applicable law.

Where we cancel a paid order for reasons not caused by the customer, we will refund the amount received for the cancelled item or order.

9. Order acknowledgement and acceptance

An automated order confirmation or message acknowledging receipt of your order confirms only that the order has been received.

Final acceptance occurs when Joy oh Joy:

confirms acceptance in writing;
begins sourcing or customising the product;
dispatches the order; or
otherwise expressly communicates that the order has been accepted.

We reserve the right to contact you to verify information before accepting or processing an order.

10. Prices and currencies

Our base prices are generally displayed in Bahraini Dinars.

The website may display or process prices in another currency depending on the customer’s location, payment provider, or selected currency setting.

Currency conversions may be:

approximate;
supplied by a third-party service;
affected by payment provider exchange rates;
subject to card issuer or bank fees.

Unless stated otherwise, the customer is responsible for:

currency conversion charges;
foreign transaction fees;
bank fees;
payment processor fees charged directly by the customer’s provider;
customs duties and import charges.

Prices may be changed at any time before an order is accepted.

A price change will not ordinarily affect an accepted and fully paid order, except in the case of an obvious pricing error that a reasonable customer should have recognised.

11. Taxes

Bahraini Value Added Tax is not currently applied by Joy oh Joy unless it is shown at checkout or required by law.

If Joy oh Joy becomes legally required to collect VAT or another tax, the applicable tax may be added to prices or displayed separately.

International customers are responsible for any import tax, customs duty, local VAT, clearance charge, or similar amount imposed in the destination country.

12. Payment

Available payment methods may include:

BenefitPay for customers in Bahrain;
secure electronic payment links for customers in GCC countries or other approved locations;
any additional method displayed at checkout.

Payment must be completed using an authorised payment method.

You confirm that:

you are authorised to use the chosen payment method;
the payment information is accurate;
the funds are lawfully available;
the transaction is not fraudulent.

We may withhold processing or dispatch until payment is successfully received and cleared.

If payment is later reversed, disputed, cancelled, or charged back without lawful justification, we may suspend the order, recover the products where legally permissible, restrict future purchases, and pursue any lawful remedy.

13. Deposits

Joy oh Joy does not ordinarily offer partial-payment arrangements unless expressly agreed in writing.

Where a deposit is exceptionally accepted:

it reserves stock or authorises sourcing, procurement, production, or customisation;
it is not refundable merely because the customer changes their mind;
it may be refunded where the order cannot be fulfilled due to a problem attributable to Joy oh Joy;
any refund remains subject to mandatory legal rights.

The applicable deposit amount and balance deadline will be communicated before payment.

14. Promotional offers

Discounts, promotional codes, gifts, and special offers:

are subject to availability;
may have stated conditions;
may be limited by date, product, customer, location, or quantity;
cannot be combined unless expressly stated;
may be withdrawn before an order is accepted;
have no cash value unless expressly stated.

Attempting to manipulate, duplicate, transfer, or unlawfully exploit a promotional offer may result in cancellation of the discount or order.

15. Pricing and technical errors

We may correct:

obvious price errors;
typographical errors;
incorrect discounts;
technical checkout errors;
incorrect stock information;
currency display errors;
inaccurate promotional calculations.

Where an error is identified before fulfilment, we may:

Processing and delivery estimates are not guaranteed deadlines unless Joy oh Joy expressly confirms a guaranteed deadline in writing.

You authorise us to contact you concerning:

order confirmation;
payment;
delivery;
address verification;
product availability;
customisation;
complaints;
refunds;
security or fraud concerns.

Written communications through email, WhatsApp, Instagram direct messages, website chat, or other recorded electronic channels may form part of the transaction record.

A customer’s written confirmation, approval, instruction, or acknowledgement may be relied upon as evidence of the agreed transaction.

18. Customer conduct

You must communicate respectfully with our staff, suppliers, couriers, and representatives.

We do not tolerate:

threats;
harassment;
discriminatory abuse;
obscene or insulting communication;
intimidation;
knowingly false accusations;
fraudulent complaints;
attempts to obtain an unjustified refund;

We may restrict communication to written channels, refuse future service, or cancel unfulfilled transactions where customer conduct becomes abusive, while preserving any mandatory rights and refunding any amount legally due.

19. Refusal of service

Where such an event occurs, we may extend the performance period, offer an alternative, or cancel and refund the unfulfilled portion where continued fulfilment becomes impracticable.

30. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found invalid, unlawful, or unenforceable, that provision will be applied to the maximum lawful extent or severed where necessary.

The remaining provisions will continue in effect.

31. No waiver

A delay or failure by Joy oh Joy to enforce a right does not amount to a permanent waiver of that right.

32. Transfer

Where Joy oh Joy publishes both an approved Arabic version and an English version, the Arabic version will prevail in the event of a conflict, to the extent permitted by law.

deliberately misleading;
duplicated;
based on customer-caused damage;
based on a product different from the one supplied;
supported by manipulated evidence;
an attempt to retain both the product and a full refund without lawful basis.

Where fraud is reasonably suspected, relevant information may be preserved and provided to payment providers, advisers, insurers, or competent authorities.

7. Chargebacks

Customers should contact Joy oh Joy first to allow a reasonable opportunity to resolve the issue.

Filing a dishonest or knowingly false chargeback may constitute a breach of these Terms.

Joy oh Joy may provide transaction records, delivery evidence, messages, approvals, photographs, and other relevant information to the payment provider in response to a chargeback.

Nothing in this clause prevents a customer from exercising a lawful right to dispute an unauthorised or genuinely unresolved transaction.

8. Applicable law

Complaints and disputes are governed by Bahraini law.

If an amicable resolution cannot be reached, either party may exercise any right available through the competent authorities or courts of the Kingdom of Bahrain, subject to applicable jurisdiction rules.

1. Meaning of pre-order

A pre-order is an order for a product that:

is not currently held in ready stock;
is expected from a supplier;
must be sourced after the customer orders;
has not yet arrived at Joy oh Joy.

Products marked as “Pre-order”, “Available on request”, “Special order”, or similar are governed by this policy.

2. Estimated period

Pre-order products normally require between one and twenty days.

Unless expressly stated otherwise, this period refers to sourcing or arrival and is an estimate rather than a guaranteed delivery date.

Additional local or international delivery time may apply afterward.

3. Maximum stated period

If the pre-order has not become available within 20 days, Joy oh Joy will contact the customer and offer the choice to:

continue waiting; or
cancel the delayed product and receive a refund for the cancelled product.

Where the customer chooses to wait, a revised estimate may be provided.

The customer’s agreement to wait should be recorded in writing.

4. No change-of-mind cancellation

A pre-order cannot be cancelled simply because the customer:-

changed their mind;
no longer wants the product;
found an alternative;
did not read the estimated period;
expected earlier delivery without receiving a written guarantee.

This restriction reflects the fact that Joy oh Joy may commit funds to a supplier specifically to fulfil the order.

It does not affect any cancellation right that becomes available because Joy oh Joy cannot fulfil the order or because mandatory law requires a remedy.

5. Supplier delays

Pre-orders may be affected by:

manufacturing delays;
supplier allocation;
international shipping;
customs;
border restrictions;
flight or courier disruption;
stock cancellation by the supplier;
force majeure events.

Joy oh Joy will communicate material delays when reasonably possible.

6. Supplier cancellation or unavailability

If the supplier cannot provide the product, Joy oh Joy may, with the customer’s approval:

offer a comparable alternative;
offer a different size, colour, or model;
issue store credit;
refund the unavailable product.

No substitution will be made without the customer’s consent.

7. Mixed orders

Where an order contains ready-stock and pre-order products, Joy oh Joy may hold the ready-stock items until the full order is available.

Separate delivery may be arranged depending on the circumstances.

If the customer requests separate delivery, the customer must pay the additional delivery charge.

8. Price changes

Once a pre-order has been accepted and fully paid, the agreed price will ordinarily remain unchanged.

However, where an extraordinary supplier, tax, customs, or pricing error makes fulfilment at the displayed price impossible, Joy oh Joy may:

honour the original price;
request the customer’s agreement to the corrected price; or
cancel and refund the affected product.

The customer will never be charged an additional amount without consent.

9. Product updates

Manufacturers may occasionally modify packaging, minor design details, accessories, or specifications before a pre-order is fulfilled.

A material change will be communicated where known.

The customer may be offered an appropriate remedy if the final product materially differs from what was ordered.

CUSTOM ORDERS POLICY

1. Custom orders

Custom orders include any product created, printed, engraved, altered, sourced, assembled, or personalised according to customer-provided instructions.

Customisation may include:

names;
initials;
photographs;
wording;
colours;
logos;
dates;
layouts;
themes;
designs;
product combinations;
other personal specifications.

2. Customer instructions

The customer is fully responsible for checking all submitted information, including:

spelling;
grammar;
names;
dates;
numbers;
colours;
wording;
image quality;
orientation;
dimensions;
design selection.

Joy oh Joy may reproduce the information exactly as supplied.

A product is not defective merely because the customer later regrets or notices an error contained in the customer’s original instruction.

3. No mandatory preview

Joy oh Joy is not required to provide a digital proof, sample, or preview before production unless expressly agreed in writing.

The customer’s original written instructions may be treated as final authority to proceed.

4. Approval

Where Joy oh Joy voluntarily sends a proof or preview, the customer must inspect it carefully.

Written approval authorises production.

After approval, the customer is responsible for any detail clearly shown in the approved proof.

Minor differences may occur between digital screens and physical printing because of:

screen calibration;
printing method;
product texture;
material;
lighting;
manufacturing tolerance.

5. Customer response

If additional information or approval is genuinely required, production may be paused until the customer responds.

Where the customer’s original instructions are complete and no further approval was promised, Joy oh Joy may proceed without waiting for an additional response.

The customer is responsible for delay caused by failing to provide required information.

6. No cancellation

Once Joy oh Joy has:

ordered materials;
begun sourcing;
prepared a design;
commenced printing;
started engraving;
started production;
otherwise incurred order-specific costs,

the custom order cannot be cancelled or refunded because of a change of mind.

A remedy remains available where Joy oh Joy made a verified error or the product is defective.

7. Custom-order claims

A customer must report a claimed customisation error within 24 hours of delivery and provide:

the original written instruction;
the product received;
clear photographs and video;
packaging evidence.

The relevant comparison is between the customer’s confirmed instructions and the delivered product.

8. Customer-supplied intellectual property

By submitting a photograph, design, logo, character, artwork, phrase, or other material, the customer represents that:

they own it;
they have permission to use it; or
its requested use is otherwise lawful.

The customer is responsible for third-party claims resulting from materials supplied without proper authorisation.

9. Right to refuse content

Joy oh Joy may refuse content that is:

unlawful;
threatening;
hateful;
obscene;
defamatory;
discriminatory;
invasive of privacy;
misleading;
connected with fraud;
infringing intellectual property rights;
otherwise inappropriate for the business.

Refusal before production will result in an appropriate refund of amounts paid for the refused work, less any lawful and disclosed cost already incurred where the refusal results from the customer’s prohibited content.

10. Image quality

The quality of a customised product may depend on the quality of the file supplied.

Joy oh Joy is not responsible for:

pixelation;
blur;
cropping;
low resolution;
colour distortion inherent in the source file;
defects already visible in the supplied image,

where the customer asked us to proceed using that material.

11. Production variations

Minor differences in:

alignment;

print position;
shade;
dimensions;
texture;
finish

may occur within normal production tolerances and will not be treated as defects unless materially inconsistent with the order.

WARRANTY AND DEFECTIVE PRODUCTS POLICY

1. Warranty availability

Certain products may include a warranty.

Warranty availability, duration, issuer, and conditions depend on the individual product.

The product listing, packaging, invoice, manufacturer document, or written communication will identify whether the warranty is:

provided by Joy oh Joy;
provided by the manufacturer;
provided by the supplier;
not available beyond mandatory legal rights.

2. No automatic general warranty period

Unless expressly stated, no additional commercial warranty is created merely by selling the product.

This does not remove rights that apply under mandatory law.

3. Warranty exclusions

4. Batteries and consumables

Unless expressly stated otherwise, batteries, replaceable cells, and consumable components are excluded from extended commercial warranty coverage.

A battery or consumable that was defective upon supply remains subject to applicable mandatory rights.

5. Warranty claim evidence

The customer may be required to provide:

proof of purchase;
order number;
serial number;
photographs;
video;
description of use;
packaging;
all relevant accessories.

6. Inspection period

Some warranty claims may need to be referred to the supplier or manufacturer.

Inspection may take approximately 30 days, depending on the product and service provider.

This is an estimate. We will communicate any material extension where reasonably possible.

7. Remedy

Following inspection, the appropriate remedy may be:

no-fault finding and return of the product;

Shipping Policy

SHIPPING AND DELIVERY POLICY

1. Delivery coverage

Joy oh Joy provides delivery throughout the Kingdom of Bahrain.

International delivery may be available to supported destinations shown at checkout or approved by us before payment.

Availability of delivery to a country does not guarantee that every product can legally or practically be shipped there.

2. Bahrain delivery time

After an order is processed, delivery within Bahrain normally takes approximately one full day.

This period is an estimate and not a guaranteed deadline.

The estimated delivery period may be affected by:

customer availability;
incomplete addresses;
high order volume;
public holidays;
courier schedules;
weather;
traffic;
operational disruption;
events outside our reasonable control.

3. Processing and delivery are separate

Ready-stock orders normally require between one and three days for preparation.

The delivery estimate begins after preparation is complete and the order has been transferred for delivery.

Pre-order and customised product periods are governed by their respective policies.

4. Delivery fees

Delivery fees are separate from product prices unless expressly stated otherwise.

The applicable delivery fee will be:

displayed at checkout;
stated in the order confirmation; or
agreed in writing before payment.

Additional charges may apply for:

incorrect addresses;
failed delivery;
address changes after dispatch;
re-delivery;
remote areas;
split shipments requested by the customer;

5. Customer delivery information

The customer must provide complete and accurate information, including:

full name;
correct telephone number;
country;
area;
block;
road;
building or house number;
flat number, where applicable;
any relevant landmark or delivery instruction.

The customer must review the information before submitting the order.

Joy oh Joy is not responsible for delay, loss, misdelivery, or additional expense caused by inaccurate or incomplete customer information, except to the extent that Joy oh Joy or its delivery representative independently caused or contributed to the error.

6. Incorrect address or recipient

Where an incorrect address, telephone number, recipient name, or delivery instruction is supplied:

the customer may be charged the cost of correcting or repeating delivery;
the delivery period may be extended;
Joy oh Joy may require confirmation before attempting delivery again.

Where the order is delivered to the exact person, address, reception desk, security guard, location, or other recipient expressly designated by the customer, delivery will be regarded as completed.

The customer assumes the risk of requesting delivery to another person or unattended location.

This clause does not apply if the courier failed to follow the customer’s actual instructions or delivered to an unrelated location through no fault of the customer.

7. Authority to leave the order

A customer may instruct the courier to leave the order:

at the door;
with security;
at reception;
with a neighbour;
with another named person;
at another designated location.

Such an instruction is given at the customer’s risk.

Once the courier has complied with the instruction and reasonably documented delivery, Joy oh Joy will not be responsible for theft, disappearance, weather damage, unauthorised collection, or interference occurring afterward, except where caused by our fault.

8. Transfer of risk

Responsibility for the physical custody of the order generally passes to the customer when:

it is personally delivered to the customer;
it is delivered to an authorised recipient;
it is placed at the location expressly selected by the customer.

Ownership and statutory rights remain subject to full payment and applicable law.

9. Failed delivery

The delivery company may make up to two delivery attempts.

A delivery may be considered unsuccessful where:

the customer does not answer;
access to the location is unavailable;
the address is incomplete;
the recipient refuses the order;
the customer requests an unagreed change;
the customer is unavailable during the arranged period.

A new delivery fee may be required before another attempt.

10. Re-delivery

If delivery fails for a reason attributable to the customer, re-delivery will be subject to:

a new delivery fee;
courier availability;
address confirmation;
any storage or handling cost reasonably incurred.

Re-delivery will not be arranged until the required amount is paid, unless Joy oh Joy agrees otherwise.

11. Uncollected or abandoned orders

An order may be treated as uncollected if the customer has failed to receive it or arrange a workable delivery solution for one month after we first attempted delivery or notified the customer that the order was ready.

Before treating an order as uncollected, we may make reasonable attempts to contact the customer through the details provided.

Where lawful and practicable, we may cancel the uncollected order and refund the remaining amount after deducting reasonable and evidenced costs, including:

initial delivery;
failed delivery;
re-delivery attempts;
packaging;
handling;
storage;
payment fees that are not recoverable;
costs relating to customised or specially sourced goods;
loss in value caused by the customer’s delay.

No deduction will be made where the failure to deliver was caused by Joy oh Joy.

Customised, perishable, personalised, or specially sourced products may not have a recoverable resale value and will be dealt with under the applicable policy and mandatory law.

12. Delays

All delivery dates are estimates unless a guaranteed service has been expressly agreed.

We will take reasonable steps to notify customers of significant delays.

A minor delay does not automatically entitle the customer to cancel a customised or pre-order product.

Where a delay becomes substantial, the customer’s rights will be assessed under the applicable policy and mandatory consumer law.

13. Split shipments

Where an order contains ready-stock, pre-order, customised, or separately sourced products, Joy oh Joy may:

ship all items together; or
propose separate shipments.

The arrangement will depend on product availability, destination, risk of damage, and operational practicality.

If the customer requests separate delivery, the customer must pay any additional delivery fees.

We will not substitute a product without the customer’s approval.

14. International delivery

International customers are responsible for:

checking whether products may legally be imported;
customs declarations;
import licences where required;
customs duties;
import VAT;
local handling charges;
inspection charges;
carrier clearance fees;
delays caused by border authorities.

International delivery times are estimates only.

Joy oh Joy is not responsible for customs or governmental delay outside its reasonable control.

If a shipment is refused, returned, abandoned, or destroyed because the customer failed to pay import charges or comply with import rules, any refund will be subject to deduction of non-recoverable shipping, return, customs, handling, and related costs, to the extent permitted by law.

15. Damaged package

Visible damage to the outer package should be recorded immediately.

Where possible, the customer should:

photograph the package before opening;
retain the shipping label;
record an uninterrupted opening video;
notify Joy oh Joy within 24 hours.

Minor cosmetic damage to external packaging alone does not entitle the customer to a replacement where the product itself is complete, undamaged, safe, and fit for its purpose.

Refund Policy

RETURNS, REFUNDS AND EXCHANGES POLICY

1. General position

Joy oh Joy does not offer cancellation, return, refund, or exchange merely because:

the customer changed their mind;
the customer no longer wants the product;
the customer ordered the wrong colour, size, quantity, or model;
the product did not match a personal preference that was not part of the description;
the customer found the product elsewhere at a different price.

However, this policy does not exclude any mandatory right relating to defective, damaged, unsafe, wrongly supplied, materially misdescribed, or legally non-compliant products.

2. No cancellation after submission

Customers must review their carts and information carefully before submitting an order.

Once an order is submitted, it cannot ordinarily be cancelled at the customer’s request.

This is particularly important where we have:

reserved stock;
incurred payment fees;
commenced preparation;
ordered the product from a supplier;
arranged delivery;
started customisation;
committed costs specifically for that order.

Where we voluntarily approve an exceptional cancellation, we may deduct reasonable and non-recoverable costs, to the extent permitted by law.

3. Reporting period

Any claim that an order is:

damaged;
defective;
incomplete;
incorrect;
materially different from its description

must be reported to Joy oh Joy within 24 hours of delivery.

Customers should not wait to use, wash, assemble, modify, or discard the product or its packaging before reporting the issue.

A late report will not automatically remove a mandatory legal right, but may affect our ability to verify whether the issue existed at delivery or occurred afterward.

4. Mandatory evidence procedure

To allow a fair and reliable investigation, the customer must provide:

the order number;
the customer’s name and contact number;
clear photographs of all sides of the external package;
a clear image of the delivery or shipping label;
photographs of the internal packaging;
clear photographs and videos of the alleged damage, defect, shortage, or incorrect item;
an uninterrupted video showing the parcel being opened from its originally sealed condition, wherever reasonably possible;
photographs of all items received together;
any serial number, label, tag, batch number, or manufacturer information;
a written explanation of the problem.

For fragile goods, sets containing several items, and claims of missing contents, an uninterrupted opening video is especially important.

5. Strict opening-video requirement

The customer is strongly required to record one continuous video that:

begins before the parcel is opened;
clearly shows that the parcel remains sealed;
shows the delivery label;
shows all sides of the parcel;
records the entire opening process without cuts;
shows every item and all internal packaging;
clearly shows any claimed damage or shortage.

Edited, interrupted, unclear, or partially recorded footage may not be sufficient to prove that damage or shortage existed at the time of delivery.

Failure to provide an opening video may result in rejection of a claim where the absence of the video prevents us from determining whether:

an item was missing when packed;
an item was damaged before opening;
the parcel was altered;
the product was mishandled after delivery.

Nevertheless, we will assess all available evidence fairly, and this evidentiary requirement will not be used to unlawfully remove a mandatory consumer right where the defect or error can be reliably established by other evidence.

6. Retaining the product and packaging

The customer must retain:

the product;
original packaging;
internal protective material;
labels;
tags;
accessories;
manuals;
warranty documents;
gifts included with the product;
shipping package.

Disposing of packaging or altering the item before inspection may prevent proper investigation.

Joy oh Joy may reject a discretionary return where the customer has discarded necessary packaging or evidence.

7. Inspection

We may require:

additional photographs;
a video call;
return of the product;
inspection by Joy oh Joy;
inspection by the manufacturer or supplier;
technical testing.

The customer must not send a product back without written return authorisation and instructions from Joy oh Joy.

Unauthorised returns may be refused or returned to the customer at the customer’s expense.

8. Approved remedies

Where we verify that the product was defective, damaged, incomplete, incorrect, or materially misdescribed at the time of delivery, the available remedy may include:

repair;
replacement;
supply of a missing part;
exchange;
partial refund;
full refund;
another appropriate solution agreed with the customer.

The remedy will depend on:

the nature and seriousness of the issue;
availability of replacement stock;
repair feasibility;
customer inconvenience;
applicable legal requirements.

Joy oh Joy’s discretion under this clause remains subject to mandatory consumer rights.

9. Fragile products

Claims concerning mugs, glassware, ceramics, or other fragile items must be reported within 24 hours with the evidence described above.

Depending on the circumstances, Joy oh Joy may:-

replace the damaged item;
replace only the affected component;
refund the affected item;
provide another reasonable remedy.

10. Original condition

Where a return is authorised, the product must ordinarily be:

unused;
unworn;
unwashed;
unassembled, where applicable;
free from stains, odours, hair, scratches, or damage;
in its original packaging;
accompanied by all labels, tags, accessories, manuals, and gifts.

A product may be rejected where its condition has been altered beyond what was reasonably necessary to establish the reported defect.

11. Non-returnable circumstances

Subject to mandatory rights, products are not returnable or exchangeable merely because they are:

unwanted;
the wrong size selected by the customer;
opened without a defect;
used;
worn;
washed;
altered;
customised;
personalised;
made to order;
specially sourced;
pre-ordered;
missing tags or accessories;
damaged by the customer;
affected by improper care or storage;
purchased during a promotion, where the promotion clearly states a restriction.

12. Clothing sizes

The customer is responsible for reviewing the size chart before ordering.

Joy oh Joy does not offer size exchange where:

the size supplied matches the size ordered;
the product label corresponds with the order;
the item is consistent with the published size information;
the customer simply finds that the selected size does not fit.

A remedy may be available where Joy oh Joy supplied a different size from the one ordered or materially misstated the product measurements.

13. Incorrect customer selection

No refund or exchange is available where the customer incorrectly selected:

size;
colour;
model;
quantity;
spelling;
compatibility;
design;
delivery address.

This does not apply where the error was caused by incorrect information supplied by Joy oh Joy.

14. Return delivery costs

Where the return arises because Joy oh Joy supplied a verified defective, damaged, or incorrect product, return costs will be handled in accordance with applicable law and the circumstances.

Where Joy oh Joy exceptionally accepts a discretionary return that is not caused by our error, the customer is responsible for:

return delivery;
re-delivery;
packaging;
insurance;
customs charges;
loss or damage in transit.

15. Refund method

Approved refunds will normally be returned to the original payment method.

Where that is impossible, unlawful, technically unavailable, or agreed otherwise, another suitable method may be used.

We may require identity or payment verification before processing a refund.

16. Refund time

Joy oh Joy normally processes an approved refund within 7 to 15 days after:

approval of the claim;
receipt and inspection of the returned product, where required;
receipt of complete payment information.

Banks and payment providers may require additional time to credit the customer’s account.

17. Delivery fees

Original delivery fees are not refundable where delivery was successfully completed and the return is not caused by Joy oh Joy.

Where the entire order is rejected for a verified defect or error attributable to Joy oh Joy, the treatment of delivery fees will be determined in accordance with applicable law.

18. Deductions

Where lawful, we may deduct from a refund:

loss in value caused by use or damage;
missing accessories;
missing packaging;
non-recoverable delivery costs;
customs charges;
costs resulting from incorrect customer information;
costs expressly accepted by the customer.

We will not impose arbitrary penalties or deduct costs caused by our own breach.

19. Refund abuse

We may investigate patterns suggesting:

false non-delivery claims;
staged damage;
substituted products;
return of a different item;
deliberate product damage;
repeated abusive chargebacks;
manipulated opening videos;
false claims of missing items.

We may require additional evidence and may report suspected fraud to payment providers or competent authorities.

A legitimate complaint will not be rejected merely because the customer has previously complained.
